1. Nature of the Service
Town of Pittsford Residents Directory is a privately operated reference that describes and links to public record indexes and directory collections. It is not affiliated with a government office, court, library, or custodian and does not host government records.
2. Permitted Use
Use this service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it or any linked result to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm a person.
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order.
- Commit identity theft, fraud, or impersonation.
- Make an FCRA-regulated credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or similar decision.
- Scrape, copy, or republish the service at scale.
- Interfere with its security or operation.
3. No Consumer Reports
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. Nothing here or returned by a linked tool is a consumer report, and it may not be used for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-regulated decision.
4. External Resources
Government portals, libraries, sponsored tools, and other outside services have their own terms and policies. We do not control their contents, availability, pricing, data practices, or search results.
5. No Warranties
The service is provided as available and without warranties. We do not promise that a page, link, record description, or external portal is accurate, complete, current, or available.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from use of this service or an external resource.
7. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the operators harmless from a claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.

Original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Links and brief attributed quotations are welcome; full-page republication or systematic copying is not.

These terms may be changed by posting an updated version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

We may block or limit access, without notice, when a user violates these terms or misuses the service.
11. New York Law
New York law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Public-record requests are subject to New York Freedom of Information Law, Public Officers Law Article 6, §§84–90, and the particular custodial and privacy rule for the record sought.
12. Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
